The anthology, led by Rkail Zeydulla, Deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Writers' Union of Tatarstan, People's Poet, and Akbar Goshali, laureate of the International "Alash" Literary Award and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the World Young Turkic Writers Union (WYTWU), has been published as part of the "Literary Cooperation" series of the Writers' Union of Tatarstan.
The anthology, elegantly published by the famous "Writer" publishing house in Kazan, was compiled by Ilsiyar Garipova, Vice Chairman of the Writers' Union of Tatarstan, with Ismet Orujaliyev, a well-known Azerbaijani lawyer living in Tatarstan, serving as consultant. The reviewers are Salim Babullaoglu, Secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, Intigam Yashar, Chairman of DGTYB, and Ilgar Turkoglu, Honorary Chairman of the "Cukurova Literature Association" Public Union.
Among the texts published in the "Contemporary Azerbaijani Story" anthology, which was published in Tatar Turkish, is the story "Mister K" authored by Yegzar Jafarli, instructor at the Department of Languages and Literatures.
Presentations of the anthology are planned in both Azerbaijan and Tatarstan.
