Vacancy for HR specialist at Khazar University

 The HR specialist will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Implements the university's personnel training policy;
  • Coordinates the hiring process and participates in the evaluation and selection of shortlisted candidates;

Khazar University Announces Vacancy for Assistant Dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business

Main duties

The assistant of the faculty carries out the following activities under the guidance of the dean:

  • Carrying out the documentation on issues such as admission to the master's degree, registration etc.
  • Supporting the provision of necessary technical support to students
  • Ensuring the organization of individual counseling and advisory commissions for student
  • Organizing and supervising the coordinated work of master's and doctoral students with departments;

Eurasia Hub is seeking a Development and Communications Manager to help the Hub staff and NRGI Eurasia Office in implementing its projects in oil and mineral-rich countries of Eurasia.

Responsibilities

  • Development, design and management of training courses, including online course platform, coordination of Hub’s work with government officials, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders,

The English Language and Literature Department administers the Khazar University English Language Requirements, providing all students across the University with strong knowledge of English and preparing them to perform with excellence in the English-language academic environment of the university.

It also offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in English Language Teaching, English Language and Literature, Translation Studies, and General and Applied Linguistics.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; providing academic leadership and management for the English Language and Literature department on issues such as developing curriculum and courses; contributing to evaluation of courses; recruiting; supervising; supporting the continuing professional development of academic staff; evaluating the faculty performance; teaching (undergraduate and/or graduate); and producing publications or other research outputs.

Minimum qualifications

Successful candidates are required to have a PhD in Linguistics or related fields such as English Literature, could demonstrate good administrative and organizational skills, and have minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience in higher education institutions.

Vacancy for Full-time Instructor

Political Science and International Relations Department of Khazar University announces vacancy for the position of full time instructor.

Required qualifications:

  • A PhD degree in Political Science/International Relations
  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Research capacities
  • Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in the field
  • Strong commitment to the mission, vision and strategic goals of Khazar University
  • Organizational skills, time management and high-level communication skills

Essential Duties:

  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate students in assigned courses
  • Developing and implementing class syllabi
  • Creating, planning course materials such as lectures, discussions, assignments
  • Assisting the Coordinator of the Department in organizing extracurricular events related to the field
  • Conducting academic research and publish in scholarly journals
  • Performing all other related duties as assigned by the Coordinator of the Department
