On August 13, 2024, the head of Khazar University's International Relations Office, Fatima Valiyeva, met with representatives of Badr University in Cairo (BUC), the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The meeting was attended by the university's Vice President for International Relations and Foreign Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hanan Mounib, Vice President for Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Fahmy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Yasser Mostafa, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmed Soliman, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Tamer Hamza, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Aref Soliman, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ghada el Dorry, and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hamed.

During the meeting, Fatima Valiyeva presented a video showcasing Azerbaijan and provided comprehensive information about the university. A video highlighting Badr University’s faculties was also displayed. Following that, an overview of Badr University and its faculties was given. The visit placed particular emphasis on fostering university collaboration. Talks were held about organizing Badr University’s visit to Khazar University. It is also planned to sign a bilateral cooperation agreement during the visit. At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged.
