On April 27, 2018, a renowned professor from Egypt delivered a lecture at Neftchiler Campus of Khazar University.

Professor Hesham Ibrahim Ibrahim El-Kassas, Dean of the Institute of Environmental Studies and Research at Ain Shams University (Egypt) delivered a lecture entitled “Green Clean-up of the Environment.” The lecture was organized with the support of the Egyptian Cultural Center under the Embassy of Egypt in Baku and its Director Mr. Ahmed Sami Elaydy who is also the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Egypt in Azerbaijan.

The lecture was attended by local and international students of Khazar University, PhD students as well as academic and administrative staff members. The lecture was followed by a meeting with Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, Founder of Khazar University, Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees.

Professor Hesham Ibrahim Ibrahim El-Kassas was also invited to participate in the 1^st International Conference on One Health: Problems and Solutions to be held at Khazar University on June 1-2, 2018.
