Associate professor Elmira Mammadova-Kekech, an instructor of the Department of the Azerbaijan language and Literature of the School of Education and Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, an instructor of the same department represented Khazar University in National Scientific Conference “Integration in modern world and topical problems of science” held in Lankaran State University on December 22-23, 2017. E.Mammadova-Kekech and G.Azizkhanli delivered presentations on “Contrasts in “Vujudname” (a form of poetry) of Turkish peoples” and “People archetype and creativity problem in contemporary Azerbaijani poetry”, respectively, in the conference section "Linguistics and literature studies".

Representatives from 26 national universities, Institutes of National Academy of Sciences, 10 organisations and 2 Turkish universities participated in the conference.
