A joint article titled "Impulsive q-Sturm-Liouville problems" by Academician Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor of the Mathematics Department, and Professor Bilandar Allahverdiyev from the same department, has been published in the journal "Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics" (2024, Volume 18, No. 2). It should be noted that "Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics" journal is indexed in "Web of Science" and "Scopus" databases.

In this study, impulsive q-Sturm-Liouville problems are considered. First, symmetry is obtained with the help of boundary conditions. Then, the existence and uniqueness problem for such equations is discussed. Finally, eigenfunction expansion was obtained with the help of characteristic determinant and Green’s function.
