Leyli Abbaszade, a second-year student at Khazar University's School of Science and Engineering, presented at an international conference on "Advanced Materials for Biomedical and Environmental Challenges" organized by Baku State University on December 24, 2024.

The research of the student, who is studying Chemistry Education, was dedicated to the spectral investigation of Azerbaijan's oil sands. Her first-time research findings demonstrated high prospects for obtaining fuel products from oil sands that have not been utilized in the republic until now. Leyli Abbaszade's presentation was met with great interest and highly appreciated by conference participants.
