On November 22, 2024, a meeting was held between the staff of the International Relations Department of Khazar University and Ping Liang, the Coordinator of the International Education Department of China's Sichuan University. Meeting participants were Fatima Valiyeva, Department Head and coordinators Ali Mirzazadeh and Jala Mammadova.

Fatima Valiyeva provided detailed information about Khazar University, while Ping Liang presented comprehensive details about Sichuan University. The discussions focused on potential collaboration between the two universities, student exchange programs and other joint research projects.

Following the meeting, Ping Liang toured Khazar University, including the China Studies Center and Confucius Classrooms, to gain a deeper understanding of the institution.
