On October 5, 2024, a traditional international scientific conference titled "AZLING 2024 - Azerbaijani Language and Modern Linguistics: Problems, Prospects, and Challenges" was held, jointly organized by the "Regional Development" Public Union and the Heydar Aliyev Center of Neftchala district. It should be noted that this conference, organized for the fourth time this year, was in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, "On measures to protect the purity of the Azerbaijani language and further improve the use of the state language" dated November 1, 2018. Along with well-known Azerbaijani linguists, more than 100 local and foreign young researchers presented reports at the conference. Teachers from the Department of Languages and Literature, including PhDs in Philology Rasim Heydarov, Reyhan Madatova, and Ilkin Asgarov, also participated in the conference. At the end of the event, certificates were presented to the participants.
