On October 3, 2024, a conference titled "Organization of Turkic States on the 15th Anniversary of the Nakhchivan Agreement" was held at Nakhchivan State University, jointly organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) and Nakhchivan State University. 

The conference began with opening speeches by Fuad Najafli, the authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic; Dr. Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations; Assoc. Prof. Elbrus Isayev, Rector of Nakhchivan State University; and Muradjan Mustafayev, representative of the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States. The speakers emphasized the importance of building an effective and functional system within the Organization of Turkic States.

The event continued with panel sessions on "Geopolitical changes in the geography of the Organization of Turkic States and the Organization of Turkic States," "Cooperation in the Field of Security," "Economic and Trade Relations," and "Cooperation in Energy and Transport."

Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, who was invited to speak at the event, delivered a presentation on "The Organization of Turkic States and National Unity: From Idea to Reality." Questions were answered.
