On August 24, 2024, a meeting was held with the Rector of Gümüşhane University (Türkiye), Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Zeybek, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ferkan Sipahi, and Akin Zengin, an instructor from the Turkish Language Teaching Research and Application Center (TÖMER).

 Khazar University was represented at the meeting by Rector Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, and Head of the International Relations Department Fatima Valiyeva.

During the meeting, a bilateral agreement was signed to strengthen relations, and discussions were held on enhancing partnerships and cooperation between the educational institutions. Fatima Valiyeva and the guests provided detailed information about their respective universities. At the end of the signing ceremony, gifts were exchanged, and commemorative photos were taken.
