"Tuition Fees at Universities to Increase Regularly and Continue Rising"
Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of the university, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, commented on this opinion in a brief interview with "Kaspi" newspaper on July 5, 2024. He stated that the fee increase is not at all related to the quality of education:
“When educators realize they can charge slightly higher fees for education, and when they get it, their opportunities increase, then they take this step. From this perspective, there is nothing surprising about it. This point is also addressed when parents sign the contract. Typically, contracts are valid for one year, and universities can review them for the following academic year."
H. Isakhanli pointed out that tuition fees will keep increasing at intervals: "Tuition fees are extremely high globally. For instance, in Europe, England, and America, they range from 20,000 to 40,000. In comparison, our tuition fees are relatively low. This is influenced by market conditions. Because there is a high demand from students worldwide for those universities, they can charge higher fees."
