On July 9, Khazar University held its 53rd graduation ceremony at the Baku Sports Hall. University ad­ministration, deans, department heads, faculty members, students, and parents,guests attended the event.

The ceremony commenced with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azer­bai­jan, followed by Khazar University's anthem.

The presenters, Ulkar Rasulova, coordinator of the Graduate School of Science, Art, and Technology, and Siyuan Wang, a master's graduate from that faculty, informed the participants that 479 bachelor's and 189 master's students are graduating from Khazar University today. Including today's graduates, the university has pro­duced a total of 5462 bachelor's and 1286 master's and doctoral graduates, with 1438 of them graduating with honors. They also mentioned that among this year's graduates, some have already earned master's degrees from prestigious universities in Poland, Italy, France, Hungary, Estonia, Belgium, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Eng­land, Sweden, and the United States.

Khazar University Rectorr Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova congratulated the graduates and wished them suc­cess in their future endeavors.

The presentation of diplomas to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students then began, with university management, faculty deans, department heads, faculty members, staff, and guests presenting the diplomas.

Aygun Gardiner, director of Khazar Uni­ver­sity "Dunya" School Educational Complex, presented the diploma to Bril­liant Windy Khairunnisa, the first graduate student of Nailekhanim scholarship.

The accomplishments of the honor graduates from Kha­zar University in the 2023-2024 academic year we­re specifically emphasized. They were awarded with the certificate of " Academic Excellence".

The graduates swore to use their knowledge and skills to benefit their families, people, and homeland, and to uphold the honor of Khazar University. The oath was recited by Afsana Demirchiyeva and Na­mig Alizade from the School of Economics and Ma­nagement, and Yuxuan Tang from the Graduate Sc­ho­ol of Science, Arts, and Technology.

Ahmed Hasanov, head of the State Procurement Con­trol Department of the Antimonopoly and Con­su­mer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, former de­an Elza Samadova, head of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, head of the Executive Com­mittee of SABAH groups, and Khazar University gra­duate  Prof. Sevinj Iskenderova (Bridgewater College, University of Virginia (USA)) spoke, offering their well wis­hes to the graduates. Finally, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isak­hanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, was invited to the stage to congratulate all the graduates.

Hamlet Isakhanli reviewed the University's journey and achievements and gave recommendations to the gra­duates.

The ceremony included a concert program featuring the Khazar University Chamber Orchestra (artistic di­rector Zulfiyya Sadigova), a student dance group (choreographed by Sabina Minasazova and Vugar Bagirov), Togrul Musayev and his music group, university faculty member ashug Ramin Garayev, and "Baku-Tabriz" Music Group led by Elman Ibrahimi and Shahin Alizade.
