On July 4, 2024, a comprehensive meeting focused on the results of the academic year and strategic planning was held at the University's Conference-Concert Center in Buzovna. University management, faculty deans, department heads, center directors, employees, and guests participated in the event.

The meeting's agenda included discussions on the scientific activities of academic departments, the publication of articles in impact factor journals for 2024, and the evaluation of the activities of research centers and departments.

Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University, chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, delivered an extensive speech.  The speaker gave information about the history and philosophy of education. He discussed the development and activities of Khazar University and reviewed the university's achievements for the current academic year.  He analyzed in detail the statistical data prepared on the basis of the comparison of the number of majors and students of the departments, the publication of scientific articles compared to last year, and the progress made in international cooperation efforts.

H. Isakhanli then provided directives on placing greater emphasis on the master's and doctoral programs, encouraging undergraduate students to engage in research, and fostering interest in doctoral studies. He recommended implementing the "Research" seminar model, enhancing research centers to achieve international status, allocating funds for research, upholding the principle of publishing "at least two articles a year," and attracting distinguished researchers from Azerbaijan. With these points, the traditional Buzovna meeting concluded its proceedings.
