On April 20, 4 students of Khazar University Petroleum Engineering Department participated at the conference organized by Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists ( ASPG).
Undergraduate students Elvin Alizade spoke about "Stability of Smaltites on Mars" and Fatima Pashazade made a speech on "Sediment origin of Gale crater on Mars". Master student's Arif Rustamov talked about "Long-term forecasting of petrol production: Comparative anlysis of reservoir simulation models and machine learning approaches" and Masud Babayev spoke on "Optimization of Heavy Oil Production Process".
The topics presented by our student were highly appreciated by Azerbaijan Society of Petroleum Geologists and jury.
With the topic he presented, Arif Rustemov took first place and Fatima Pashazade was awarded the 2nd place.
Note that Dr. Grigori Penkov supervises Arif Rustamov and Masud Babayev, while Elshan Abdullayev supervises Elvin Alizade and Fatima Pashazade.
