On April 15-19, 2024, Maciej Cesarz, vice-rector of Wroclaw University in Poland, Jovana Kisin and Jelena Jesiv, employees of Educons University of Serbia, visited Khazar University as part of the Erasmus + Staff exchange program (Erasmus KA171).
On the first day of the program, Jeyhun Mammadov, dean of the School of Economics and Management of Khazar University, Raziya Isayeva, director of the Development Office, Aygun Verdiyeva, deputy dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, Orkhan Valiyev, head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, Fatima Valiyeva, head of the International Relations Department, coordinator Arzu Badalova participated in the meeting. Arzu Badalova provided an introductory presentation about the universities.
Following the program schedule, Arzu Badalova led a tour of the campus to give the guests a closer look at Khazar University, including visits to the library, laboratory, and Nailekhanim Culture Center, where detailed information about exhibits on the life and activities of Nailekhanim Isayeva, a prominent educator, was provided.
On the second day of the program, Jovana Kisin, representative of the International Relations Department of Educons University of Serbia, and Raziya Isayeva, director of the Development Office, exchanged experiences of both universities in the direction of the Erasmus + KA 1 and KA2 projects.
Wroclaw University vice-rector Maciej Cesarz had a meeting with Khazar University vice-rector for Educational Affairs Mahammad Nuriyev in accordance with the program, followed by a lecture on European Union border management policy to the students of political sciences. On the following days of the program, lectures were given to students in the direction of Quality Assurance by Jovana Kisin and Macro Economics by Jelena Jesiv.
