On March 29, 2024, the presentation of the full-length feature film "Mubariz" dedicated to the national hero of Azerbaijan, Mubariz Gurbanov, was held in the Marble Hall of Khazar University. University staff and students attended the event.

The film, produced by AZTV with Nicat Manali as the scriptwriter and chief producer from Munis Production company, was directed by Natig Novruzov. The role of Mubariz Ibrahimov was portrayed by Huseyn Aliyev, while Flora Huseynova played the role of his mother, and People's Artist Shamil Suleymanov played his father.

Alovsat Amirbeyli, director of Public Relations and Media of the university, opened the event and noted that Mubariz Ibrahimov has become a national hero in the Azerbaijani community. He mentioned the various tributes to Mubariz Ibrahimov, such as streets and schools named after him in Bilasuvar, statues erected, commemorative plaques, books,
