On March 17, 2024, the head of the English Language and Literature Department Milana Abbasova, Ph.D. in Philology, delivered a keynote speech on "The Role of Foreign Languages in a Multicultural Society" at the "Foreign Language Teachers Solidarity Forum"organized by the Education Forum Social Platform. The event, which was attended by more than 300 foreign language teachers, took place at the Pullman Hotel conference hall. The instructors of English Language and Liiterature Department Shahla Gamari, Narmin Askarova, Sevda Asadova, Jala Ismayilova, Nargiz Mammadova also participated in the forum.
