The 27th Eurasian Economic Summit was convened by the Marmara Group Foundation in Istanbul, Türkiye on February 21-22, 2024. Over 800 representatives, including two heads of state and 18 former presidents from 40 countries worldwide, participated in the summit. Alovsat Amirbeyli, the director of Public Relations and Media at Khazar University, was among the invitees.
Akkan Suver, the president of the Marmara Group Foundation, inaugurated the meeting with an opening speech, extending greetings to the heads of state and all attendees. Istanbul Governor Davut Gül presented a letter from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the summit participants.
On the 1st day of the summit meeting, the former Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov, the Assistant President of Switzerland David Chikvaidze, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Türkiye Akin Soft Özgür Akin, the Assistant Minister of North Macedonia Jabir Doko, the Greek Patriarch of Istanbul Ecumenical Patrik Bartholomeos, the UN World Federation for Peace and Love President Hong Tao Tze, Polish Senator Bogdan Adam Klich, Governor of Gagauzia (2015-2023), President of Religious Affairs of Türkiye (2003-2010), President of the Xinhua Institute of the People's Republic of China Liu Gang, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ledzad Lokmić, Attorney of Syriac Catholic Patrick of Türkiye Korepiscopos Orhan Çanli, Naftali Haleva, a member of the Religious Organization of the Rabbinate of Türkiye, Zahari Zahariev, the President of Bulgaria - Slaviani Foundation and others gave a short speech.
At the first meeting held on the 2nd day of the summit, more than 20 representatives of state, municipal and non-governmental organizations from 10 countries of the world delivered various reports. Khazar University Public Relations and Media Director A. Amirbeyli was elected secretary of that meeting. On the last day of the summit, former presidents Abdullah Gül (Türkiye - video), Marina Çavara, Mladen Ivanić (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Emil Konstantinescu (Romania), George Ivanov (Macedonia), Ivo Josipović, Stjepan Mesic (Croatia), Vaclav Klaus ( Czech Republic), Petru Luchinski (Moldova), Moncef Marzouki (Tunisia), Nambar Enkhbayar (Mongolia), Fatmir Sejdiu (Kosovo), Irina Vlah (Gacausia), Filip Vujanovic (Karadagh), Valdes Zatlers (Latvia), Ersin Tatar (TRNC) , Danilo Türk (Slovenia) delivered speeches and expressed the positions of their countries regarding the recent situation in the world. At the end of the Summit, memory photos were taken. Marmara Group Foundation hosted a banquet in honor of foreign leaders and guests.
