On December 18, 2023, an event titled "From diversity to unity: contribution of Heydar Aliyev's multiculturalism and youth policy to the integration of migrants" was hosted by the State Migration Service (SMS) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth. The gathering included the participation of foreign youth and students. Turan Alizadeh, coordinator of Khazar University's International Relations Department, and Yuxuan Tang, a Chinese citizen and student of the Graduate School of Science, Art, and Technology, participated in this event.

The presentation of a video titled "From Diversity to Unity: Voices of Migrants from Azerbaijan" showcased the perspectives of foreigners residing in Azerbaijan, expressing their thoughts about the country. Yuxuan Tang also participated in that video. The event featured an intellectual competition titled "How well do I know Azerbaijan?" involving the participation of foreign students.
