On November 10, 2023, an online seminar titled "Advanced Approaches to Upscaling Fluid Flow" was conducted by Turgut Ahmadov, organized by the Graduate School of Science, Art, and Technology in collaboration with the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Khazar University. Participants included students from the bachelor's program in "Petroleum Engineering," those pursuing a master's degree in "Development and Exploitation of Oil and Gas Fields," as well as university staff.

Notably, Turgut Ahmadov, the speaker, is pursuing a doctoral degree at Texas A&M University in the United States under a tripartite agreement involving the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Khazar University, as part of the program "Doctoral study abroad on increasing the international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023".
