On November 1, 2023, Khazar University's History and Archaeology Department, including Dr. Roza Arazova, Dr. Yagub Mammadov, and lecturers Orkhan Zamanov and Kamala Mustafeyeva, actively participated in the opening of the exhibition "Uzun Hasan - The Ruler of the Aqqoyunlu Dynasty" at the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The exhibition showcases numerous rare artifacts regarding the life of the remarkable statesman and general, Uzun Hasan, as well as the Aqqoyunlu state he founded. These include historical items from the Military Museum in Istanbul, which, until now, have not been exhibited outside of Turkiye. This marks the first presentation of these artifacts in Azerbaijan. The exhibition is set to run until January 17, 2024.
