Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy visits the University of Wroclaw

From October 23-27, 2023, Dr. Orkhan Valiyev, the head of Khazar University's Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, participated in the Erasmus-Staff Mobility program (KA171), visiting the Institute of European Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Wroclaw University in Poland. Dr. Valiyev presented a lecture on "From Armistice to Victory: State and National Identity in Azerbaijan" to graduate students at the institute. The lecture concluded with an interactive session involving questions from both students and faculty. Notably, scholars from different countries and universities, alongside representatives from Khazar University, also took part in the program.

Within the program, Dr. Valiyev met Urszula Broda, the head of the International Office at the University of Wroclaw, and vice-rector Maciej Cesarz. During the meeting with Dr. Cesarz, potential collaborations with Khazar University's Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy were explored.
