On October 19, 2023, the Nizami Cinema Center hosted an event titled “The Martyr in My Dream” and a presentation of the film of the same name, dedicated to Javid Mikayil Hasanov, a graduate MBA student at Khazar University who was martyred in the second Karabakh War.

Martyrs' mothers, government representatives, university rectors, businessmen, representatives of non-governmental organizations, media members and other persons took part in the commemoration ceremony. Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova spoke at the event.

She presented a flower basket on behalf of Khazar University for the event. In the end, the organizers presented a plaque of gratitude to rector Irada Khalilova for her support.

Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, dean of the School of Science and Engineering Fakhranda Efendiyeva, deputy deans of the School of Economics and Management Bahar Imanova, Khanim Omaroglu and others attended the commemoration ceremony.
