On October 12, 2023, employees of AIESEC Azerbaijan visited Khazar University under the organization of the Khazar University Career Center. The event provided general view of AIESEC Azerbaijan.

Note that the AIESEC organization is the largest student organization with consultative status at the UN, covering students and graduates of more than 1,300 universities in 110 countries. Considering the importance of membership in the international organization AIESEC and its impact on youth development, the Republic of Azerbaijan became a member of this organization in 2006 through the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and in 2009, AIESEC Azerbaijan received the status of a full-fledged member of the international internship program.

The event informed students about the projects “Global Talent”, “Global Teacher”, “Global Volunteer” and “Global Host”. The “Global Talent” project provides professional development opportunities by offering internships and exchange programs in many different fields globally. The “Global Teacher” project aims to improve the quality of education by providing opportunities to study abroad. The “Global Volunteer” is a volunteer experience program based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The “Global Host” project provides an opportunity to experience new cultures by hosting international students coming from abroad on an exchange program.

As part of the event, information was given about what programs and countries the project participants participated in. Murad Rzayev spoke in detail about the experience he gained in the “Global Volunteer” project in Romania.
