On September 15, 2023, Khazar University hosted a meeting with employees of Hasvet Medical, organized by the Department of Life Sciences. Hasvet Baku International Animal Hospital has been operating in Baku for almost 1 year with its specialist staff (local and Turkish veterinarians).  The hospital provides services such as various types of operations, tomography, endoscopy, X-ray, ultrasound, general blood analysis, biochemical and hormone analyzes, cytological diagnostics, anesthesia, resuscitation, as well as private care for pets.

The meeting was attended by the rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova, head of Life Sciences Department Jamala Eldarova, associate professor of the Department Javid Ojagi, deputy director of Hasvet Baku International Animal Hospital Mehmet Kochak, coordinator Y.Emre Buyukbali and Chichek Aliyeva, the hospital's veterinarian and instructor at Khazar University's Life Sciences Department.
Hasvet Medical company with its centers in many regions of Türkiye, successfully operating in various fields such as the establishment of veterinary clinics, production of hospital supplies, laboratory devices, animal medicines, feed et c. made a presentation on its mission and areas of activity. In addition, issues such as strengthening cooperation between the parties, providing advice on the establishment and management of a Veterinary Clinic at Khazar University, as well as organizing trainings were discussed.

It was also decided to sign a memorandum between the parties to teach some practice classes of students majoring in Veterinary Medicine at Khazar University at Hasvet Baku International Animal Hospital.
