On May 22-26, 2023, head of the Department of Petroleum Engineering Dr. Elshan Abdullayev, assistant to the rector and lecturer of the Computer Engineering Department Humay Huseynova and coordinator of the International Relations Office Fatima Valiyeva participated in the International Working Week held at the University of Tuscia in Tuscia, Italy within the framework of the Erasmus+ staff exchange program (KA107).

On the first day of the program, the rector of the university, Prof. Stefano Ubertin, and the vice-rector for International Relations, Prof. Simone Severini, met with the participants and made presentation on the objectives of the International Staff Week, as well as about the university.

Representatives from different countries took part in the event. Fatima Valiyeva, coordinator of the International Relations Office, made a presentation about Khazar University and its faculties, scholarships offered to students, international opportunities, cooperation.

In the following days of the program, Prof. Giuseppe Calabro delivered a presentation on innovative and inclusive teaching. Prof. Sonia Melchiorre reported on diversity and inclusion in administrative communication. Project coordinator Dr. Isabella Querci held a workshop in the direction of innovative practice - research.

A meeting of university representatives participating in the week with students currently studying at the University of Tuscia with the Erasmus+ Student Exchange Program was organized. Employees of Khazar University met Seymur Mirzaliyev, a 3rd-year student of Oil and Gas Engineering at the School of Science and Engineering, and were interested in his impressions.

A visit of the program participants to Lake Bolsena was organized, they were invited to an evening banquet on the campus of the University.

At the end of the program, participants were presented with certificates.
