On May 21, 2023, the Art and Sports Festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was opened at Khazar University Ganja "Dunya" school. The main goal of the festival is to identify talented students, create conditions for exchanges between regional schools in the field of science and education, and establish friendly relations.

People aged 6-18 will participate in the festival, which consists of three stages. The festival is held in a total of 11 nominations - instrumental performance, robotics, solo performance, mini football, volleyball, karate-do, drawing and painting, essay writing, artistic reading and acting, chess and dance.

At the opening of the festival, the founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, employees of Khazar University and Baku "Dunya" School, Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Education Department, Ganja City Executive Authority, Ganja Writers' Union, Ganja Youth House and representatives from other organizations, members of parliament, well-known artists of the region, school principals, schoolchildren and parents participated.

The parade, dances, performances, which schoolchildren went through, divided by nominations, created a great solemnity at the opening of the festival

Each participant in the festival can participate individually in only one nomination. The second stage will be held at the end of May. Participants who stand out in the second stage will qualify for the final stage. The final stage of the festival will be organized in the form of "Gala night" in the first 10 days of June. The winners will be awarded with various gifts and diplomas.
