On April 30, 2023, the III International Forum of Caspian Energy Club was held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The forum was opened by Telman Aliyev, chairman of the Caspian Energy Club and chief executive officer of the club, chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Caspian Energy Investment Forum.

Head of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, MP Shamil Ayrim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Türkiye Rashad Mammadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, Chairman of the Türkiye -Azerbaijan Business Council, Chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye ( DEİK) Kemal Kologlu, Chairman of the Council of Caspian Energy Türkiye Suleyman Majidli and others spoke at the opening ceremony.

A partnership memorandum was signed between DEIK and Caspian Energy Club Azerbaijan. Following the official opening ceremony, various panels discussed the development of joint projects in the field of energy, the use of alternative and renewable energy, green energy, prospects, existing projects in the region, energy efficiency, digital transformation and other topics. The forum was attended by representatives of more than 200 companies, government agencies and non-governmental organizations from Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
