On April 25, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of Mexico to Azerbaijan Victoria Romero held a seminar on "Mexico & Azerbaijan: Creating a partnership for the future" at Khazar University.

Head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy of the University Dr.Orkhan Valiyev, instructor of the Department Baba Bayramov, deputy dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Tarlan Orujova and students attended the seminar.

The seminar covered the main directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Mexico, the place and role of Mexico in the world, the "student exchange program" planned for the future and other issues. After the presentation, students' questions were answered.
