On March 25, 2023, the literary and artistic event "The world was a song" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Jabir Novruz, the prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, national poet, was held at the Arvan library named after A.Samadli in Goychay.

Opening the event, the head of the library Mehriban Mammadova spoke about J. Novruz creativity and his fine poetry. Then, Director of Goychay District centralized Library System Zafar Hajiyev, leading teacher of Goychay State College of Management and Technology Rafig Abdullayev, teachers of literature of district schools made speeches.

Schoolchildren recited selected examples from J.Novruz poetry.

The well-known tar player Rovshan Zamanov performed pieces of music written to the words of the poet.

Mursel Rovshan, the graduate of Khazar University, and Vasif Ayan, the young film critic, took an active part in the event.

At the event, Firangiz Nasirova, the head teacher of Khazar University's English Language and Literature Department, spoke about J. Novruz's creativity, the richness of the poet's imagination, and the unity of his poetry with music.
