On March 18, 2023, a Nowruz celebration was held for international students of the university under the organization of Khazar University International Relations Office. Vlad Vernygora, vice-rector for International Relations, congratulated the students on the holiday and shared his impressions of Nowruz. The management of the student council, employees of the International Relations office - Arzu Badalova, Fatima Valiyeva and Huseyin Aliyev also congratulated the students.

Fatima Valiyeva, the coordinator of the International Relations office, held a quiz reflecting the ancient traditions of Azerbaijan's national holiday. At the meeting, where detailed information was given about the symbols of Nowruz holiday, international students also conveyed their congratulations on the occasion of the holiday, gathered around the Nowruz khoncha, had an egg fight, and tasted Nowruz meals. International students expressed their deep gratitude to the university administration.

The holiday celebration continued with national dances performed by the university's dance ensemble (artistic director Sabina Ismayilova). At the end of the celebration, memory photos were taken.
