On March 15, 2023, Director of Baku Yunus Amre Institute Selchuk Karakılıch met with faculty members and a group of students of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences at Khazar University.

The meeting was opened by the dean of the faculty, associate professor Elza Samadli, who introduced the guest. S. Karakılıch informed about the activities of the Yunus Emre Institute in Baku and stated that the institute, in addition to education and teaching, conducts research for the purpose of better promotion and teaching of Turkish culture, history, language and literature, cooperates with different organizations to support scientific work and performs various activities to convey the obtained results to the public. He said that the institute cooperates with Khazar University and several other higher education institutions. Then the importance of relations with Turkish universities and new opportunities were discussed, and interesting proposals and projects were put forward.

At the end, S.Karakılıch, who shared his impressions of Baku with the participants, presented the gifts of the institute to the students and teaching staff.
