On March 10, 2023, the presentation of the book "Introduction to the use of renewable energy resources" was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU).

A group of MSU faculty members, students and graduate students participated in the presentation of the book written by Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov and Rovshan Abbasov, head of Geography and Environment Department of Khazar University.

At the opening of the event, MSU rector Shahin Bayramov, who spoke about the relevance of the book's topic, said that interest in the use of renewable energy resources has recently increased in our country, and systematic and complex measures are being implemented by the state in connection with the development of this field. Noting that the book is of great scientific-theoretical, teaching-methodical and practical importance in this regard, the rector emphasized that the textbook will be useful for students and faculty at MSU, which trains engineering personnel.

Then, reports on individual sections of the book were heard. It has been pointed out that the main goal of writing the book, as noted by the authors, was to create detailed basic knowledge about renewable energy resources, their use and modern problems in this field. In the discussions, the authors expressed confidence that they had achieved their goals.
