On February 7-8, 2023, the online meeting was held for coordinators of projects selected for funding within the Erasmus+ 2023 Program. Ms. Raziya Isayeva, Director of Development Office participated in the meeting as the coordinator for the “Institutional Repositories Network in Azerbaijan” DIRNA project.

The two-day meeting brought together representatives of 150 institutions to discuss program related matters and exchange ideas.

In the first day of the meeting Barbara Gessler,Head of Unit EACEA.A.4 International Capacity Building and Sophie Beernaerts, Acting Director and Head of Department Erasmus+ and EU Aid Volunteers gave speech about Capacity Building in Higher Education: current and future prospective.

The next day of the session was devoted for CBHE Project Implementation, Monitoring and Management highlights.Ms. Raziya Isayeva gave presentation about project “Institutional Repositories Network in Azerbaijan” DIRNA which aims at building capacity in the context of research output management, focusing on eight leading AZ HEIs, via establishing Open Access Institutional Repositories Network. The Project comprises of 8 AZ HEIs, and 3 European Higher Education Institutions (EU HEIs).
