Shafaq Gasimova and Khagan Nurullayev, 4th-year students of the School of Economics and Management majoring in Finance, went on a foreign trip as part of the UniLab project. They share their impressions with readers.
Shafaq Gasimova:
I visited Barcelona School of Management in Spain with a group of employees of our university. Both educational rules and touristic spots intrigued me. We shared our ideas and had an interesting conversation with the general team of the Unilab project. It was very interesting to hear different opinions of students from different nationalities on the same subject together. We visited different campuses of the Barcelona School of Management. Excellent conditions were created for the students. There were large auditoriums of modern design. What attracted my attention in the library was the richness of the book collection and the fact that all the reading rooms were full of students. For graduates to adapt to market demands, they must acquire certain skills and communication skills during their studies. Career and development centers act as a bridge between the job market and students. Within the framework of this project, we realized once again the role of career centers in determining students' access to the labor market. Together with the team from our country, we attended a series of lectures organized by the Unilab project. These lectures were very useful to us due to the group work and exchange of ideas at the end. During the trip, we visited historical-architectural monuments and tasted the dishes of Spain's national cuisine.

Khagan Nurullayev:
- This was the first Erasmus+ project I participated in. I would highly appreciate the 3 days we spent at IMC Krems University of Applied Sciences in Austria with a group of Khazar University employees. Because we had a good experience and had a good time. Although Krems is a small town, it combines modernity and historical architecture at the same time. As proof of this, we can show examples of modern buildings, charging stations for electric cars and historical buildings. During the project, we got acquainted with the university campus and its conditions. The university has created great conditions for students, it has very expensive VR technology that allows you to get acquainted with the digital world. We also got a chance to experience the VR technology and it was amazing. When we heard that one of the specialties taught at the university was "Wine business", we were very interested. Then we learned that the climate creates very favorable conditions for planting vineyards here. People plant vineyards on the mountain slopes by building terraces like stairs. I would like to emphasize that during the meeting, when the Career center of the university announced the statistics on the employment of its graduates, this figure was almost 100 percent. I hope that Khazar University will achieve the same result with the efforts and research of its Career Center. During the trip, we gained some experience and spent unforgettable days.
