On December 17, 2022, AzETA (Azerbaijan English Teachers` Association) held a regional conference at the Ganja "Dunya" School under the organization of Aida Elyazova, the head of the union's Samukh branch, and Aslan Guliyev, the coordinator of the Ganja "Dunya" School. The conference was informative as well as educational.

About 120 teachers from Baku, Barda, Ganja, Goygol, Ismayilli, Mingachevir, Gabala, Samukh, Shirvan, Sumgait, Sheki, Yevlakh participated in the conference.

Speakers at the opening ceremony of the conference emphasized the role of such conferences in the professional development of teachers.

Then Jeimy Maldonado, who was invited as a guest, gave a plenary talk on learning a foreign language at an early age and Tofiqa Mammadova, head of AzETA Barda branch, on writing successful projects. Then the conference continued its work in sessions.

At the end of the conference, Colombian Diego, who lives and works in Ganja with his family, played national songs on guitar.
