On November 10, 2022, an online meeting was held between Khazar University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).

The rector of Khazar University, associate professor Irada Khalilova, the veterinary coordinator of the Department of Life Sciences, Dr. Ayaz Mammadov, and the associate professor of the department, Javid Ojagi, the associate professor of the Department of Molecular Sciences from SLU, Galia Zamaratskaya, and the student of "Agronomy - Food Science" from SLU, Simon Tobias attended the meeting.

Galia Zamaratskaya made a short presentation about the main points of the HanimSpac project. Then Irada Khalilova informed the event participants about the structure, scientific activities, and international cooperation et c. of Khazar University.

A.Mammadov brought to the attention of the participants the results of the survey conducted by the employees of the Department of Life Sciences under the leadership of the rector of Khazar University regarding animal welfare among farmers and consumers in different regions of Azerbaijan.

After discussions, the results of the survey conducted by Khazar University on animal welfare were analyzed statistically, and it was decided to prepare an international article together with SLU.
