Khazar University Faculty Member at "XIV International World Language Turkish Symposium"

On October 20-22, 2022, the lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, PhD in Philology Zemina Ziyayeva participated in the "XIV World Language Turkish Symposium" organized by Alaaddin Keykubad University in Alanya, Turkey.

The symposium, which was attended by more than 360 participants from 19 countries, began with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Güzel, the author of this project.

Famous Turkologists such as Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bican Ercilasun, Prof. Dr. Umay Türkeş Günay, Gürer Gülsevin (President of Turkish Language Association), Prof. Dr. Filiz Kılıç (deputy chair of MHP), Prof. Dr. Öcal Oğuz, as well as the local board of Alanya city participated in the opening of the symposium.

The lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures, Ph.D. in philology, Zamina Ziyayeva delivered a speech at the symposium on "Gunay Karaağaç and her place in Turkish Grammar", which tells about the life and activities of the famous Turkologist Prof. Dr. Gunay Karaağaç.

The book of summaries of the symposium has been published.
