On October 26, 2022, a meeting was held between the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies and Khazar University.

The meeting was attended by the rector of Khazar University, associate professor Irada Khalilova, the dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Saida Sharifova, the dean of the Graduate School of Economics and Business Ingilab Ahmadov, the dean of the School of Science and Engineering Fakhranda Alimardanova, the coordinator of the School of Economics and Management Maral Jamalova, International Relations coordinator Fatima Valiyeva, the rector of the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies Dr. Irina Pilvere, tbe head of the International Cooperation Center. Dr. Voldemārs Bariss, the dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine Kaspars Kovalenko and counselor of the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan Elmira Mirzayeva.

At the meeting, discussions were held in the direction of establishing bilateral diploma programs and promoting partnership and academic relations between educational institutions.

It should be noted that the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies is a higher education and science institution where scientific research, as well as academic and professional education programs are carried out. On June 15, 2022, an agreement on strengthening bilateral relations was signed between the Latvian University of Life Sciences and Technologies and Khazar University.

At the end of the meeting, gifts were exchanged.
