On October 17-21, 2022, Professor Onur Inam of Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey, and Zeynep Duyar, the lecturer of Dumlupinar University, Kütahya, Turkey, visited Khazar University’s School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, School of Science and Engineering and International Relations office within the Erasmus+ Labor Mobility Exchange Program.

On the first day of the program, an introductory meeting with Turkish specialists took place with the participation of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for International Relations Vlad Vernygora, Director of Public Relations and Media Alovsat Amirbeyli, Dean of the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences Elza Samadova, Dean of the Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology Saida Sharifova, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering Fakhranda Alimardanova, Head of the Law Department Jabir Khalilov, Head of the Physics and Electronics department, Rasul Muradi, Coordinator of Chemical Engineering Department Farida Tatardar, and Coordinator of the International Relations office Fatima Valiyeva.

At the meeting, Vlad Vernygora made a presentation about Khazar University, Onur Inam delivered a presentation about Gazi University and Zeynep Duyar’s presentation was on Dumlupinar University.

Then a meeting was held with Farida Tatardar at the Department of Physics and Electronics and Rasul Muradi at the Department of Chemical Engineering, and the guests were given extensive information about the activities of the departments and laboratories.

Aytac Misgarli, deputy director of the University's Library Information Center, introduced the activities of the center to the guests. On other days of the program, Onur Inam had individual meetings with Mehdi Kiyasatfar, the coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Department, and Javid Ojagi, the Coordinator of the Life Sciences Department. In the meetings, there were discussions about inter-departmental cooperation between the two universities. Onur Inam gave a lecture on "Artificial Intelligence" to the students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering within the framework of the program.

Zeynep Duyar met with Farid Guliyev, the head of the Department of Political Sciences and Philosophy, and Baba Bayramov, the lecturer of the department. Also, in the meeting held with the Head of the Law Department, Jabir Khalilov, and the senior teacher, Akif Alizadeh, the principle of work of law departments of universities was discussed in a comparative manner.

In the Nailkhanim Cultural Center, guests were given detailed information about the exhibits reflecting the life and activities of Nailakhanim Isayeva. On the last day of the visit, the Turkish specialists visited the "Fire Temple" State Historical-Architecture Reserve and were presented with a certificate for successfully completing the program by the deans of the School of Humanities Education and Social Sciences and the School of Science and Engineering.
