On September 8, 2022, a round table meeting on the topic "National Military Industrial Complex of the Future" was held within the framework of the ADEX-2022 international arms exhibition at "Bakhu Expo Center". Employees of Baku State University, Khazar University and Azerbaijan Technical University, technology engineers of state institutions participated in the event organized by the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan. At the meeting, Khazar University was represented by Fakhranda Alimardanova, the dean of the School of Science and Engineering, and Farida Tatardar, the head of the Department of Physics and Electronics.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the prospects of working together with the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan and the technology departments of institutes, universities and other institutions for the development of the national military industry in the future and opportunities for mutual cooperation. One of the main issues that was highlighted during the meeting was to direct the perspectives of young people to the arms industry, to ensure the development of heavy industry by supporting young people.

After the speech of Aflatun Mammadov, Chief Engineer of the Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry, the meeting continued with the mutual exchange of views of the participants and ended with extensive discussions.
