Khazar University faculty member Elsa Ismayilova's article entitled "Dali Hasan in "Koroglu" epic (based on Azerbaijani and Turkish versions)" was published in the journal of "Philology Issues" of the Institute of Manuscripts named after M.Fuzuli of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (No. 7, 2022).

The article examines the place of Deli Hasan in the "Koroglu" epic. It is shown that he is a brave hero like Koroglu and reflectsthe heroic spirit of the people.

At the same time, the historical events of the end of the 16th - beginning of the 17th century are analyzed, based on a number of studies, the identity of Deli Hasan, Koroglu's comrade-in-arms, is determined, and information is provided about his life, time and activities. Based on historical facts, it is said that he is not an imaginary hero, but a person who lived in history and became a legend.
