On June 15, 2022, an agreement was signed between Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technology and Khazar University to strengthen bilateral relations.
The meeting was attended by Rector of Khazar University Irada Khalilova, Vice Rector for International Relations Vlad Vernygora and International Relations Coordinator Huseyn Aliyev, Director of Development Center Raziya Isayeva, and from Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technology Director of the Center for International Cooperation Dr. Voldemārs Bariss, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Laimdota Straujuma, Counselors of the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan Vija Buša and Elmira Mirzayeva.
An agreement on strengthening bilateral relations was signed at the meeting, and discussions were held to enhance partnerships and academic ties between educational institutions.
Note that Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technology is a higher education and scientific institution of the Republic of Latvia, where scientific research, as well as academic and professional education programs are carried out. At the end of the signing ceremony, both parties presented gifts to each other.
