CBELT-TKT seminar

On June 22, 2021, Khazar University hosted an interactive seminar on “Making Communicative Language Teaching Sensitive to Contextual Demands: the case of Azerbaijan”, as part of the CBELT-TKT project, in partnership with the US Embassy.

Participants were ESL teachers from IDP schools in Baku, Absheron, Sumgayit and various regions of Azerbaijan.

The event started with theoretical part where all the crucial points were emphasized by the speaker Gulnur Nabiyeva, the lecturer at the Department of English and Literature, and then continued interactively. Teachers actively participated in the discussion process, expressed their views and comments, and shared their experiences with colleagues.

At the end, the participants of the CBELT-TKT project were provided with practical advice to master the skills of constructively solving problems of both individual and professional nature in the educational process.

The event was finalized by awarding the certificates for the trainees completed the training course.
