A Memorandum of Understanding on education-industry cooperation was signed on February 25, 2026, at Khazar University between the university and Azerbaijan Poultry Company and Azerbaijan Fish Farm. The document aims to strengthen the integration of higher education with the real production environment, accelerate the development of applied science, and ensure the training of highly qualified personnel.
The signing ceremony was attended by the founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, the university's rector Dr. Raziya Isayeva, the head of Azerbaijan Poultry Company and Azerbaijan Fish Farm Kanan Mammadli, as well as the university's vice-rectors, deans, academic staff members, and the management and specialist staff of the companies.
Speeches emphasized that establishing effective cooperation mechanisms between science, education, and production is of particular strategic importance for ensuring sustainable and competitive development in the fields of agronomy and veterinary medicine. Within the framework of the Memorandum, provisions have been made for the implementation of joint scientific projects in the fields of veterinary medicine, poultry farming, and aquaculture, the application of modern diagnostic and management mechanisms, the organization of students' practical training, and the implementation of professional development programs.
