Khazar University Rector Dr. Razia Isaeva and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ulkar Isaeva visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University on March 2, 2026.

During the meeting, the development of strategic partnership between Khazar University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as well as long-term cooperation opportunities in the fields of research, innovation, and academic development were discussed. In addition, meetings were held with university representatives regarding joint research initiatives, international academic relations, and steps to be taken for future collaboration.

The Khazar University delegation subsequently visited the School of Computer Science and Engineering and the Institute for Artificial General Intelligence at Jiao Tong University. The delegation familiarized itself closely with the operations of the Institute's AI and Cognitive Engineering laboratories and held meetings with staff, during which discussions were conducted.

The visit concluded with the exchange of gifts and the taking of commemorative photographs.
