On December 27, 2019, Khazar University School of Economics and Management successfully organized a meeting between its students majoring in tourism and experts invited from the Tourism Government Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The main purpose of the event was to introduce students to activities performed by Tourism Government Agency and to consider opportunities for students to participate in projects aimed at developing tourism. During the meeting, Huseyn Hasanov Head of Education and Training Division of Tourism State Agency, delivered a speech, providing information about potential growth opportunities in tourism sector, current problems and possible solutions. Moreover, during his speech, Huseyn Hasanov noted the projects and works delivered during the year by the organization he represented. The event went on with the presentation delivered by Huseyn Mammadov, the Head of “Tourism Volunteers” Organization which is an affiliation of the Tourism Government Agency. Students showed keen interest in opportunities introduced by the organization, such as internship programs and opportunities to participate in local and international projects.
