Associate Professor Telman Nusratoglu, Head of the Department of History and Archaeology at Khazar University, has been on a visit to the city of Andijan, Uzbekistan.

As part of the visit, Nusratoglu delivered a presentation at a forum held at Kokand University in Andijan. Following the presentation, meetings continued with various higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.

In the next stage of the visit, Telman Nusratoglu visited the University of Economics and Pedagogy. During the meeting, an exchange of views was held with the university's faculty and students. The meetings included wide-ranging discussions on Azerbaijani–Uzbek brotherhood, the unity of the Turkic world, the shared history and national roots of our peoples, and the spiritual values connecting Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. During the meeting, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the interest shown by the younger generation in Uzbekistan toward the shared history of the Turkic world, national-spiritual values, and the ties between brotherly peoples.

Nusratoglu expressed his gratitude to the university's leadership for the warm reception and the high level of organization of the meeting.

It was noted that the meetings held during the visit would contribute to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, as well as between the higher education and scientific communities of the two countries.
