On December 25, 2019, Asaf Omarov, the Head of Life Sciences Department of Khazar University and Associate Professor Javid Ojagi, from the same department, visited Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. During the visit, a meeting was held with professor Ibrahim Jafarov, the Rector of ASAU and correspondent member of ANAS, and they were familiarized with the faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Agronomy as well as some other faculties. During the meeting, the Rector of ASAU, Ibrahim Jafarov expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasized the importance of further expanding the ties. The parties stressed the importance of the implementation of joint research projects and joint projects between universities, the use of experience of local and international scientists, the joint organization of international and national scientific conferences and exhibitions. Finally, a memorandum on cooperation in science, education and research was signed between the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and Khazar University.
